K Bueno Ecotours is owned and operated by Katya Hunt, a licensed tour guide and 15+ year resident of Puerto Rico. Born and raised in New York State, Katya fell in love with the unparalleled natural beauty of Puerto Rico and moved to the island, abandoning the harsh Northeast winters without looking back. 

In addition to hosting ecotours for more than a decade, Katya has worked in Puerto Rico as a teacher, swim instructor, water safety instructor, scuba divemaster, and captain of wine pairings at Marmalade, an iconic fine dining destination in San Juan. 

Katya has a lifelong passion for the environment, beautiful places, exploration, and adventure. She founded K Bueno Ecotours to share this passion with others in what she knows to be the most spectacular place in the world.
